亓百婷(Qibaiting)—
Info
Qibai is an artist currently based between Beijing and London. Her art practice mainly focuses on narrative objects and sculptural installation.
She is working towards her MA in Contemporary practice at the Royal College of Art. Graduating from Renmin University of China in 2023, her work Secret Sounds was collected by University’s Art Museum. At the same year,she was selected in Artist's Independent Column of Sculpture, 28(4) as the youngest artist.

7. Cornfield


Cornfield, 2021
On the one hand, agricultural production has been accompanied by astrological activity, a long historical process in which man has been observing and recording the information of the sky. On the other hand, the universe is also gazing at the earth and its order is influencing the earth's environment. The project represents the changing dynamics of the relationship between the astronomy, climate, and natural environment.
